Humanities Student Essay Contest Winners
鈥淸T]he variety of students from different backgrounds I've met at the Virginia Governor鈥檚 School have broadened my perspective. As a person born and raised in rural Central Virginia, I don鈥檛 often have the opportunity to talk to people who have drastically different perspectives from my own鈥� I've met people from both Southern and Northern Virginia, living in both cities and the countryside, who are both liberal and conservative. The only thing we all have in common is our passion for the arts or humanities.鈥�
