                                    V. Course Description: 
                                    
                                    An integration of the major areas of scientific study with application to the theory
                                       and procedures in the field of Respiratory Therapy. The course focuses on applied
                                       mathematics, organic, inorganic, and physiologic chemistry, and medical physics with
                                       emphasis on physical principles of gasses.
                                    
                                    VI. Goals and Objectives of the Course:
                                    
                                    Upon the successful completion of this course, the student will be able to
                                    
                                    
                                       
                                       - Analyze physiologic data using mathematical models.
 
                                       
                                       - Integrate principles of chemistry as they relate to the patient with cardiopulmonary
                                          dysfunction.
