PHYS 326: Geophysical Field Research Capstone Seminar  
Prerequisites: Instructor Approval
Credit Hours: (1)
This course will be taken the semester after PHYS 325 – Geophysical Field Research
                                       and will serve as a capstone experience for that course. Students will analyze the
                                       data acquired during their PHYS 325 field research, refine the custom sensors they
                                       designed for their research, and create a presentation appropriate for a national
                                       scientific meeting.

 Detailed Description of Conduct of Course
Course delivery may include weekly meetings to evaluate the progress of the data analysis
                                       and the preparation of their presentations. Students will present their work and experiences
                                       to each other and to university classes.
 
Goals and Objectives of the Course
After the completion of this course students will be able to:

Students may be evaluated on their data analysis, presentation preparations, and final
                                       presentations to various groups.
