V. Course Description: This course introduces informatics as an integration of nursing,
computer and information sciences that support the practice of nursing. It will acquaint
practicing nurses with the effective utilization of technology and its applications
throughout all aspects of health delivery.

- Discuss nursing and healthcare informatics competencies as they relate to the goals
